Shirring
Description: Creating gathers or pleats in the fabric between two seams (in parallel rows).  Two-point tension, fabric is stretched between two seams and tacked onto another piece of fabric or "foundation".
Uses: Bodices can be partly or fully shirred as well as skirts or sleeves.
Alteration Tips: Can be easily manipulated for alteration.
