Ruffles

Description: A strip of gathered or pleated fabric to create a frilled effect.
Uses: Can be used in many ways for style details, especially on skirt layers and hemlines.
Alteration Tips: Ruffles will only really need to be altered if it is used as a hemline or full skirt, therefore, each gown has to be looked at individually.  As a hemline, the next seam up should be taken up so the detail is kept.
