How do I measure for a bra & find the right size?
Here are our suggestions and tips for measuring and finding the best fit:
-Use a cloth tape measure and hold the tape snug but not tightly. (Tip: Don't have a cloth tape measure? Use a piece of string, then measure the string with a ruler metal tape measure.)
-Have someone help you take the measurements if possible. (Your measurement will be inaccurate if your rib cage is not relaxed with arms at your sides.)
-Wear an unpadded bra while taking measurements.
-Measure around your rib cage just below your bust to get your under bust measurement.
-- If this number is under 33" add 5"
-- For 33" or over add 3"
-- If it's an even number, that's your bra size.
-- If it's an odd number, add 1" for your bra size.
-Measure around the fullest part of the bust to get your bust measurement keeping the tape level without pulling it too tight. See chart for cup size:
The difference between your bust measurement and your bra size is your cup size.
