What is dye lot variance?
Dye lot variance is when bolts of fabric are dyed in separate lots, often creating a slight variance in color. While every effort is made to produce consistent color during this process, exact color matches can not be guaranteed. In store swatches and sample dresses are to be used as a guide only.
We always recommend ordering a group of dresses, such as a bridesmaid party, all at the same time. The entire order can then be placed with the manufacturer who makes every attempt to make all the dresses from the same lot of fabric for the best match. We are happy to hold individual orders that are part of a group, until the entire group is complete, before placing the order with the manufacturer.
